Southside Park Association Pool

POOL INFORMATION

Pool Hours

The Pool is open for regular hours usually as of May 14th.

- Lifeguards may occasionally ask swimmers to exit the pool while chemical levels are checked and adjusted, and required maintenance is performed.

Pool Hours:

May 27th 10 to 6PM

 May 28th 1 to 6PM

May 29th 10 to 6PM

May 30 to August 13--10-8 Monday-Saturdays and 1-8 on Sundays

Swim Meets pool closes at 5--June 1, June 12, June 15, June 19.   

July 4 11-5

September 4th 10 to 6PM

Member Sign-In Procedure

- All members must sign in their names and addresses at the entrance table. Lifeguards will check the names against a list of current Park Association members.

Guest Policy

- Park Association members must accompany their guests to the pool and remain with their guests in the pool area.

- Park Association members may not bring as guests residents of Southside Place who are not current in their Park Association dues.

- Please limit the number of guests to four per dues-paying household. The guest policy is not intended to be a substitute for pool parties for which there is a charge.

- Park Association members are personally responsible for the conduct of their guests. Members are particularly responsible for placing their guests' waste (e.g., plates, wrappers, napkins, and cans) in the trashcans.

Lap Swimming

During regular pool hours:

- During pool hours, one lane will be designated for lap swimming. the lap lane will not be available during swim team practice or during meets.

- When parents are lap swimming, children under the age of 7 still must be supervised by a parent or other adult 18 years and older.

Outside of regular pool hours:

- To use the pool for swimming after pool hours, you must be at least 18 years old, know how to swim, and be member of a Southside Place Lap Swimming Club household that has paid its 2006 Park Association dues.

- You must sign a release form and know that you swim at your own risk as there will not be lifeguard on duty.

- Children are not allowed to free swim at any time while the pool is otherwise closed, even if their parents are lap swimming.

- You must have another swimmer accompany you while you are swimming laps after hours - there can be no exceptions.
